I really like to stretch out in funny positions. Humans call doing this type of thing “yoga”, so I guess I’ll call it “cat yoga”. My favorite pose to lay on my back with my belly fur pointing up and my paws in the air and then stretch out as long as I can and occasionally flop around from side to side.
Doing this on the edge of the couch or from atop my perch is too dangerous, though. as I have a tendency to miscalculate the amount I can flop around without falling off.

Everyday Cat Toys (Part I)
A lot of the things you humans think are everyday household items are actually really great cat toys.
One good example of this is a straw, especially if it has a paper wrapper on it.
Some of my favorite drinking-straw related games include “bite the straw” and “throw the straw in the air and swat at it”. My all time favorite straw game would have to be “roll on my back while I have my claws wrapped around the straw and then rapidly kick it with my back feet” however.
Cat Fight!
Because of that stupid cat, I was feeling hurt and sick and so Greg brought me to the cat doctor. I hate cat doctors! They gave me medicine and shots that made me feel better, but it took two cat doctors to wrap me in a towel so I would sit still. The medicine worked good and I started to feel better, and then Greg treated me to a big old bowl of WET FOOD! Even better, it was TUNA FLAVOR!
This week I’m feeling much better. The mean jerk cat has not come back to my catio since, so I think I scared him off for good.
Just hangin’ out
Scratch Lounge
Greg and Deirdre always bring me fun new toys and yummy food, but sometimes they also buy (or make) me my own special cat furniture! One of my favorite pieces of furniture is my scratch lounge. My scratch lounge is the best. First, it is a box, and I LOVE BOXES! Also, the floor and walls are made out of the BEST scratching material, I like to scratch and scratch and then scratch some more. Sometimes Greg puts catnip on the scratch pad and I just go CRAZY! The other best thing about my scratch lounge is that it is perched up high so I can watch birds out the window and watch over the living room.
Catwalk
Sometimes my owners bring me on outdoor adventures. I love outdoor adventures, even though it sometimes means I have to stay on a leash. Here’s a picture of me taking Deirdre for a walk at the beach!
The beach is weird because its like a big litterbox where a lot of the litter is wet. My whole time at the beach I saw lots of dogs but no other cats! I think there is probably too much water and dogs at the beach for it to be a hot-spot for the local felines.
